Background:

In 2007, the only public ice rink in Tucson closed. At that time Tucson Adult Hockey League, LLC was founded by Danny Plattner, Pat McDonagh and Robert Nissenbaum.

Mission:

The mission of Tucson Adult Hockey League, LLC is to provide an adult ice hockey league in Tucson.  As part of our mission, we are committed to providing players a safe, fun and competitive place to play with a focus on sportsmanship.

League Info:

Currently we have 6 teams. Our players range in age, ability, and experience. We do our best to make sure the teams are even and competitive.

The only option for ice hockey in Tucson is the Tucson Convention Center Arena.    Due to their scheduling of large events, we typically do not have our league schedule in advance. We update our website regularly with the upcoming game schedule. Our season runs from September thru February/March.

Our games are typically played on Monday and Thursday nights.  Games are 1 hour and 15 minutes with a running clock.  Period 1 and 2 are 20 minutes and period 3 will be determined by the scorekeeper based on the amount of time remaining. The final minute of each period will have stop time. 

We have a 10 game season.  We will add an 11^th game if the league is full by the 3^rd game.

Payment:

We accept cash, check, or credit/debit card payment.  Cost for 2010-2011 season was $250.  We do not anticipate an increase; however, this is always a possibility. Payment must be made in full. 

2011-2012 Season info:

Due to overwhelming response, the league will be split into 2 divisions, Advanced and Intermediate.  Advanced division games will be on Tuesday nights and Intermediate division on Thursday’s or Monday’s based on TCC availability.  Both divisions will contain 4 teams.  The price of $250 for 11 games will remain the same.  Our first games will be August 30^th (Advanced) and September 1^st (Intermediate).  If you have not already done so, please email us your division preference ASAP so we can make team assignments.

 Registration is now available.  We will accept your registration on a first pay basis, until the league is full.  To register please follow the following instructions:

Cost for 11 games is $250.  Payment can be made by credit/debit card, check or cash.  Credit/debit card payments are accepted thru PayPal.  If you plan to pay by credit/debit, cost is $257 to cover the $7 Paypal fee.  Please use our email address of league@tahl.org to send your Paypal payment.  If there are any questions please call Robert at 520-331-0566.  Checks can be either paid in person or by mail.  Cash payments are also accepted in person.  The league address is:
